Bluebell Railway Extension Appeal 2012 – Funding for the Finish

Funding for the Finish: As of June 2012 we need to raise a further £570000 to complete our extension to East Grinstead, which we hope to open at Easter 2013. tinyurl.com We have already met the 1 April 2012 deadline for waste clearance from Imberhorne Cutting which had been used as a waste tip. Both undertaking this work and also raising the funding required by the deadline has been a magnificent effort by staff, volunteers, and other donors. The run-round loop at Kingscote was re-instated following completion of the new pointwork, at the start of June 2012. However, we cannot let up, as there is much more to be done, as described in the video. You can find out more information and donate to the appeal via the 50th Anniversary Appeal website: bluebellrailwaytrust.org.uk
