how can i make a simple cheap steam engine?

i want to make it with a tin can or sompthing like that and some other house things.
my dads a machanic and i got som small steam engine pistons ide like to use allready (two of them)

Kent Festivals and Events

Ramsgate offers their annual Harbour Marina Regatta Week in August is a popular base for international water-based competitions. The Jazz festival and Carnival visits Margate in July and August each year, with the pending opening of Turners contemporary Margate’s calendar is sure to increase even further in years to come. Kent is also famous for its beer and hopping, made by the iconic Oast houses around the county; it is also home to one of the uk’s largest breweries Shepherd Neame. A choice of agricultural museums explores Kent’s hopping history and you can take a tour of the Shepherd Neame factory in Faversham. All festivals are within easy reach of affordable accommadtion, whether its camping or a posh hotel Kent has every potion covered.


Kent Railways

Kent has a number of steam railways, the Romney; Hythe and Dimchurch Railway is a very most popular attraction. A ‘mainline in miniature’ this little public railway (the worlds smallest) opened in 1927 and stretches for 13.5 miles. Sittingbourne and Kemsley light steam railway was built to transport raw materials needed for the paper mill in the area. This unique line has a particular edge in that the steam engines still operating are the original engines and rolling stock which has always run on this line. The Spa Valley Railway runs for 3.5 miles though the picturesque Kentish weald countryside between the towns of Royal Tunbridge Wells and the village of Groombridge, stopping off in between at high rocks.

Kent Shopping

Bluewater is Europe’s largest retail outlet and it is found near Dartford. Canterbury and Rochester both are shopper’s dreams offering a wide selection of specialist shops and boutiques. Maidstone is home to a wide range of high street shop and pleasant surprises can be found in historic Bank Street and Pudding Lane. Broadstairs has recently undergone a shopping overhaul with their shopping centre Westwood cross. Bringing big name, high street stores into one convenient place.

Kent Transport

Kent has many major motorways linking it to the rest of the country; the M2, M20 and M26 all run through the county. With major train routes into London it makes kent a easy place to reach from London town. The new high speeds train service from St Pancras to 21 stations runs over 200 trains each week. Kent is home to Kent International Airport, flying domestic flights to and from Edinburgh. Kent is also home to Rochester airfield and Headcorn Aerodrome. Biggin hill airport is also in Kent being just 12 miles from London this airport is used mainly as a business aviation centre. Dover is Kent’s closet link to France being a mere 21 miles from Calais, and offering a number of routes to access it. Routes include Eurotunnel available from Folkestone into Calais; Eurostar from Ashford into Paris, Ferries from Dover will take you directly into Calais. Kent now has a new ferry route from the port of Ramsgate into Oostende, Belgium this is run by newly merged companies LDL Lines and Transeuropa Ferries.

Kent Museums and History

Kent is home to a large number of museums, It boats museums such as second world war museum and airfields, museum of Kent Life, Agricultural History Museums. Ramsgate is home to the Spitfire and Hurricane memorial building museum. In Sevenoaks you will find the Shoreham Aircraft museum. In Folkestone you can visit the Battle of Britain museum, In Birchington near Margate you will find the Powell-Cotton museum, Quex house and Gardens.
