Coffee Pot No.1 in Steam at Rowley Station, Beamish Museum [HD]

Footage of our Head Wrightson shunting engine in steam at Rowley Station, February 2011. Coffee Pot No.1, a veteran from 1871, is seen carrying out a genuine day’s work when the curatorial team at Beamish Museum were engaged in moving rolling stock into and out of the storage areas. This gave a great opportunity to see some items not normally on public display, as well as giving the curatorial team a public outing in all their dishevelled states! Here is a sequence of film taken over the day. Note that the signals are non-operational and aren’t being passed at ‘danger’. See more news about Beamish’s transport collection at beamishtransport.blogspot.com Shot with a Canon 5D Mkii, edited with Adobe Premiere CS5 – best viewed in HD.

THE ROYAL DUCHY: Penzance to London ( Station Exeter )

On the 3rd Of April me and my family decided to go to exeter via the train for a day trip. i have always wanted to see a steam train on the UK mainline. as we got of the train in exeter we noticed two amazing locomotive steam trains parked up across the platforms. so we just had to stay and watch this exsitment of seeing such an icon from the past. The steam hauled section of the Royal Dutchy was from Exeter St Davids to Penzance London Paddington-Penzance 30777+34067 44871+70013: Bristol Exeter-Penzance [D1015 Paddington-Bristol-Exeter also Penzance-Paddington]

Salou Station / la Estación de Salou (August 2009)

Views of Salou station, including the steam locomotive outside the station, regional train services, and long and middle distance Arco and Talgo trains. The best part of this video is at the end when a Euromed service passes through the station at 100 miles per hour, only two feet from my camera – blowing my hat off in the process. What a rush that was.
